2 cups self-raising flour
1 egg
1 desertspoon sugar
3/4 cup chopped dates
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 cup milk (1/2 water 1/2 milk can be used)
Mix all together and knead mixture on a floured surface and cut into rounds bake in a hot oven for 7-10 minutes. Enjoy.
