Abbey Road

Janelle wanted to go shopping after school today and while we were stopped at the traffic lights The Beatles were staring at me from a shop window. There they were John, Paul, George and Ringo with a big neon sign saying Shazza take us home, the first available parking spot was grabbed and now The Fab Four have a new home. Well not the real life Beatles, I mean that would be impossible as two of them are dead after all, but this bag with their Abbey Road album cover is now mine.

And I have the perfect use for it too, what do you reckon?? I think that George would approve, I hope so.

Now this little shopping expedition also included a trip to the supermarket and it wasnt until I got home that I realised I was wearing an extra necklace today. It's not a very good photo but you can clearly see that I was walking around town today with my row counter still hanging around my neck, I didn't realise until I got home. Oh well I guess unless you were a knitter you wouldn't even notice, right!!!!!

So funny about your row counter necklace! Maybe you'll start a new fashion trend.

Haha! That's hysterical! I imagine so many people would have no idea what that even was. What a good idea, I had never thought to do that.

This would be a trendy accessory too!! It is a clicker counter you can use for rows, don't be afraid!!
Love the bag - what an excellent knitting bag it is too. Nazzy Shazzy Knitting Made ( or maid!!)

Yep I agree with everything that has been said. You obviously didnt look too silly cause if I ever wear anything different people usually ask.

Love the necklace.

And yes, I do think George would approve. I was watching 'Concert for George' last night (gift for DH) and had forgotten how much I love his music and really miss his presence.

Thanks for your comment on my blog, Shazza.

I had to do an entry entirely on the DVD. Will look out for the one you suggested.

Thanks.

Hee Hee, Haa Haa. I can just imagine you walking around with your row counter around your neck.

What a fashion statement.

Launceston will never be the same.

Ah those flashing neon signs get me every time too.

Love the bag, so very cool. I haven't seen one with Beatles before.

I see a new trend coming on! Knitters across the globe, I mean really that's not such a bad idea. At elast you won't lose it if it's tied around your neck. At least I hope I won't.

That necklace experience is hysterical. And it's true, most people wouldn't have a clue what it was, they may have concluded it was a timer for medication taking?

Hahahahaha~ That necklace is too much. Of course, we know you are a trendy sort of gal, too.

And the bag, what a fab find of the fab four. Congratz!

hey, when you create a new style, just walk around like you own it. it's the LA thing to do. before you know, you'll see row counters on the red carpet and you can say 'I started that"
