I've Made A Panta Too

I must be the last person on the knitting planet to make one of these. I did cast on quite a while back now and put it aside, as you do, to work on other projects. I will wear this when I go for my walks, living in Tasmania you need something to keep the cold out of your ears. The pattern can be found here and I used a 12ply yarn on 5mm needles.

I have finished the back of Janelles lacy jumper and started the front, all is going well as I haven't reached the shaping yet!!! The front and back are identical so surely there wont be a problem, will there????

**EDIT NOTE**
I have removed the registered users only in comments and now switched it back to how I had it so that EVERYONE can comment. I have added word verification to hopefully avoid spam which forced the change in the first place. Personally I find word verification a pain but if it prevents spam I can put up with it.

I haven't made a Panta yet, but I think I should. My ears are freezing as we speak (or as I type). You look lovely in it too.

I need one...its pretty chilly down here in the sout too.
I never knew what Panta was but I had seen it mentioned a few times....so does that make me the last knitter to knit one?
It looks great!
I'll have to add it to my list.
Boy you have knitted some lovely clothes!
Very inspired.

I love your lacy top. It is looking very beautiful. I bet you will get lots of requests for more from friends and family. (one for me anytime you have time LOL)

Lucky you going to that concert. I would not have noticed Leo Sayer if JOhn Waters was there. He is one of my pinups and I used never to miss Playschool when my kids were little (Shows my age)

Your Panta looks great - especially on you! I probably will not knit one since I have no use for it here in heat of Texas.

Your lacey top looks fabulous. Fingers crossed for an easy back!

As you know, I have the verification too. It is a pain, and I am sure people do not comment because of it but it does keep the spam away -well worth it.

Hunh. I haven't done a panta, clapotis or curly-whirly. Does this make me a knitting-dag? I'm guilty of being a poor post commenter but have vowed I shall lift my game and be polite when I view blogs from now on. Afterall, it's like walking invisibly through someone's lounge; a kind of voyeurism and not at all in the spirit of friendly goss that is SnB/knitters in general! So, tappy fingers, here I come!

You can't be the last perosn to knit the Panta as I haven't even organised the yarn I will use let alone cast on for mine.

The jumper has come up wonderfully! What dosen't kill you makes oyu stronger.
