Toast And Marmalade For Tea

The Opal socks destined for Saturdays market, in a way I hope that they don't sell as I really like this pair. The colours of browns, greens and blues are so me, they would look rather nice on my feet.

Now there are many who think that all I do is knit, especially the kids and Mr Brickie (I've decided that sounds much better than DH which here in Australia has a totally different meaning!!). Now this is simply not true, I have been known to have domestic moments in true Nigella style as this photo proves.

Some freshly made Tangello and Passionfruit marmalade, my whole house smells of citrus, it is lovely. Marmalade on muffins for breakfast tomorrow, yum!!

I visited Sober Knitting and she had a link to this so I am going to do my bit and knit a blue square. I definately take for granted fresh water straight out of the tap as I am sure most of us do.

Lovely socks & gorgeous colors. Where do you buy your Opal yarn? It's so difficult to find in Perth. What size & length DPNs do you use? Sorry...so many questions but I am really into socks now!!! And yummy marmalade - I made some plum jam once & it was lovely.

Those socks are so lovely, they are sure to sell. Maybe you'll have to make yourself another pair.

I am not a marmalade fan, but that looks and sounds delicious! Will you be sending off bad vibes to potential buyers??

Great socks, as usual:)

Love the idea of knitting a river. I've also toyed with a new name for my hubby for much the same reason!

Love the Opal socks, Sharon, and I knew you had to do much more than knit with the size of your family! :)

Those are the prettiest Opal socks I've seen in an age, Shazza. I hope you got to keep them. :o)

I love to make freezer strawberry jam but your marmalade looks luscious, too!
