Ponytail Beanies

If you like to wear a ponytail in winter but find your ears getting a bit cold then my Ponytail Beanie could be just what you are looking for. I made this one in a gorgeous Autumn shade of rust and embellished it with a crocheted flower with a plaid fabric covered button in the centre.

I have enjoyed making the Crocheted Owl Tea Cosies so much that I have now added a Koala to the range. He even has some gum leaves and gum nuts embellished on him in case he gets hungry!

Farewell Muse Hats

This was my first hat design and they have been a great little item but I have retired them to that retro craft room in the sky, but never fear the free pattern is still available I just wont be making them anymore for sale, I have six left in my shop.

Still playing around with my new camera, check out this arty shot of one of my toddler hats brown and pink a classic combination.

Very pleased to see that Bendigo Woollen Mills are once again producing Rustic in yellow ochre. After seeing Felicity Kendall in The Good Life wearing a gorgeous yellow cabled polo neck jumper, I just knew I had to make one!

till next time,
happy knitting (and crocheting).

Owl Tea Cosies

It all started with this little guy, I have to admit that I have become obsessed with crocheting owl tea cosies! Not sure where the original pattern comes from but this version was made available in a 1985 issue of New Idea. So if anyone has any info on the original pattern, please leave a comment in the comments section as I would love to know the origin of this gorgeous pattern.

About Time

I have been doing lots of knitting and crocheting, yes I have discovered that I love crocheting almost as much as knitting! Made this gorgeous shawl for a customer.

I have designed a new hat for my Etsy shop very happy with how it turned out.
